RBG1000, 2000

For many applications in research, development and quality assurance and for the calibration of particle measurement devices, low‐concentration powder aerosols with a concentration of just a few mg/m3 are required. The RBG system has been employed worldwide with great success for over 25 years to reliably disperse non‐cohesive powders such as mineral dusts, medical compounds, pollen, and so forth in the size range < 100 μm and a fine fraction of < 100 nm. Monolithic solids such as chalk used in schools are dispersed finely with highest dosing constancy. The special advantage of this dispersion system is that with a quick, easy exchange of the powder reservoir, mass flows of about 40 mg/h to 430 g/h in the case of the RBG 1000 and of about 200 mg/h to 560 g/h in the case of the RBG 2000 can be dispersed with the highest level of dosing constancy.

Powder disperser for medium and high mass flows

Solid aerosols from powders and dusts are needed for many applications in research, development and quality control. For more than 20 years the BEG 1000 has been used successfully for the reliable dispersing of non-cohesive powders, like for example test dusts, in the size range < 200 11m up to flame soot in the size range < 100 nm. The special advantage of this dispersion system is the fact that it can be used continuously with highest dosing constancy, both for low mass flows with the BEG 1000 type A (e.g. 8 gIh) and for high mass flows with the BEG 1000 type B (e.g. 6 kgIh). Due to the special built-in components in the reservoir, the plane conveyor belt and the special ejector dispersion nozzle, the BEG 1000 supplies a finely dispersed aerosol with highest dosing constancy.

Solid aerosols from suspensions,solutions and biological agents

Solid aerosols from suspensions and solutions, such as NaCl and KCl, are needed for many applications in research, development and quality assurance. Several standards specify NaCl or KCl aerosols as test aerosols for the development and comparison of filter media and filters. For test aerosols to be worth their name, their particle size distribution and particle concentration have to remain constant throughout the testing period. Furthermore, the particle size distribution and concentration must be repeatable.
A specially developed nozzle ensures that these requirements are fulfilled by preventing salt crystals from crystallising at the nozzle exit. Thus it is possible to make repeatable adjustments to the particle size spectrum, in the range from approximately 5 nm to 15 11m, depending on the solution concentration. Optionally pressure-resistant up to 10 bar.
